Want To Root Htc Wildfire S as we Rooted Htc Explorer in the previous Post?There’s no problem In It Now this Post is On How To Root Htc Wildfire S.Htc Wildfire S is an Android Phone with Gingerbread 2.3 OS.In order To Upgrade It to Ice Cream Sandwich and Remove its Limitations Rooting Is Necessary.

This Post is About How To install Custom Recovery and Root Htc Wildfire S.It is very Easy and Simple if you Do it with straight mind and Patience.

How To Root Htc Wildfire S

Specifications Of Htc Wildfire S

  • Android V2.3 (GingerBread) OS
  • 3.2 Inch Touch Screen
  • 5 MP Primary Camera
  • 600 MHz Processor
  • 2 Gb Internal Memory

Safety Measures Before You Proceed

  1. Enable Usb Debugging In your Phone.
  2. Your Phone must Be 60% charged.
  3. Back Up Your Device.
  4. Close all Running Applications like Antivirus,Battery Check up Utility etc.

Required Files TO Root Htc Wildfire S.

  1. A file>Download
  2. Root script( File>Download
  3. A FAT32 Formatted SD Card.
  4. A wildfire S With Bootloader Unlocked Or S-Off.If the Bootloader is Still Locked Go To Htc Site To Unlock Bootloader.

How To Root Htc Wildfire S

  1. Connect your Htc Wildfire S To Your computer Via Usb Cable.
  2. Transfer To your SD card.
  3. Disconnect Your Phone From Computer and Disable FastBoot Of your Device.
  4. Now Turn Off Wildfire S.
  5. Reboot the Phone To HBoot Mode by Holding Down both The Volume and Power Button Until the HBoot Screen Appears.
  6. When Prompted To Apply Update Use Volume Up key To Start The Update.
  7. After Update Press the Power Button To Reboot The Phone and once fully Booted Reconnect your Phone To your Computer.
  8. Now Delete the file from your SD card and Copy the file to the SD card.
  9. Unplug The Phone From The Computer and Turn it Off.
  10. Press Power and Volume Down Keys Until HBoot Appears On the Screen.
  11. Use The Volume keys to Navigate now and Enter Into recovery Mode.
  12. Now Select install Zip From SD card and Select The Zip file From The SD card.
  13. Select yes To Confirm and initiate Rooting process On your Phone.The Script Will Automatically Root your Phone.
  14. It will Automatically Turn On When It get Rooted.

That’s it Now You Have Rooted Your Htc Wildfire S,and Superuser will be installed In the phone with The Busybox And Su Binary.If you get any Problems While Rooting Feel Free to Comment and If you liked The Post Reward Us With a Stumble and Don’t Forget To Choose The Best Antivirus For Android And Install It.

      Try Doing It Again And For Entering Into Recovery Mode Keep Pressing Volume Keys,Power Keys Or Power Keys.

        I tried it again,now its getting “main version old” error,can you please help me out of this….I tried to check software updates in settings but it said your phone has no updates

            Yup,I think so…while unlocking boot loader my software number 2.26.720.3 troubled me a lot and asked updates,by using some apps I unlocked boot loader finally without RUU method.Now this troubling me again

    wildfire s internal memory is 150 MB.

    I did booting,when I came to step. I found no option like update..there were
    Fast boot…recovery…n two others..
    I pressed fastboot n then on next page pressed reboot.
    Then followed all steps. Came to step . There pressed recovery,while recovering Oth gave a mob error picture then gave options n below it was written “cant open cache/command ..
    Then on d same page I pressed “update from SD card” cos there were no option of “install from zip file” n then it said booting successful. But when d phone starts there was nothing like link2sd. I’m still having low storage problem:(

      Bro this doesn’t happen everytime..but i will suggest you to see it got rooted or not ..there are many apps for this and then try rooting again..

      .: USB METHOD :.
      Be sure to Nandroid backup your device from recovery (just in case).
      Download the latest Universal USB Installer or UnetBootin.
      Download ISO Reflash Utility from AlphaRev website.
      Install the software of your choice.
      Open it, and select your USB device and your AlphaRev ISO freshly downloaded.
      Create your bootable USB key.
      Reboot your computer and boot on the USB key you freshly created.
      Press any key to accept the disclamer.
      Once you are in your ROM, plug your Desire with the USB cable on your computer.

      hi when i rooted my htc wildfire s the memory sems to me like get smaller why before rooting ther are more brograms downloaded on my htc and after rooting i downloaded have of this programs and the memory goo soo small les than 10 mb free why and is there any way to unroot my devise again please answer me

      No u Can’t U need To unlock Boot Loader.Just Go To Htc SIte and unlock it.
